In the wake of the devastating South Fork and Salt Fires by Ruidoso, a significant donation has been made to aid in the recovery and relief efforts for the affected communities. The Con Alma Health Foundation (CAHF) has pledged $7,500 to support those who have been severely impacted by the fires. This contribution will go towards immediate and emerging revitalization efforts, including shelter, necessities, clean-up efforts and providing support for basic needs. CAHF is collaborating with the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico.
Linda Candelaria-Dodd, the executive director of the foundation, expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting the community during this challenging time. “We are dedicated to helping our neighbors rebuild their lives after this tragedy. Our donation reflects the strength and unity within our community,” she stated. The foundation’s donation is expected to make an immediate and long-term impact, offering much-needed assistance and hope to those who have been displaced by the fires.”
