Con Alma Health Foundation (CAHF) announces the election of Dr. Gayle Dine’ Chacon and Patricia Collins to the Foundation’s statewide Board of Trustees.
“We are happy to welcome Dr. Chacon representing the Navajo Nation and Ms. Collins representing Hobbs and Southeastern New Mexico Their leadership joined with the dedication of our statewide board and community advisory committee is crucial to Con Alma Health Foundation’s capacity to promote the Foundation’s vision of health equity for all,” said Dolores E. Roybal, CAHF executive director.
Dr. Chacon is an associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the UNM School of Medicine, and director of the Center for Native American Health (CNAH). Dr. Chacon is originally from Chinle, Arizona and Dine’.
Patricia “Patty” Collins serves as the executive director of Faith In Action, which provides financial assistance to the indigent population of Lea County. She also serves on the Lea County Health Council and Board of the United Way of Lea County.
