The New Mexico Office of African American Affairs recently honored Con Alma with an award for extraordinary commitment and service.

The Office recognized Con Alma Health Foundation for its work to increase diversity among New Mexico nurses, support Affordable Care Act education and implementation, and promote health equity, which happens when everyone has an equal chance at living healthy lives. Dolores E. Roybal, executive director of Con Alma Health Foundation, accepted the award in June.
