On June 13, 2017, Dolores Roybal, Con Alma’s executive director, joined a roundtable discussion to explore impacts of racial inequities, economic issues, and immigration and learn about approaches to addressing these challenges. As a participant in the morning panel “Leveraging Resources to Advance Equity in Rural Areas” Dolores gave a brief presentation on the work Con Alma does in New Mexico towards “Achieving Rural Health Equity and Well-being.” Panelist presentations were followed by a discussion period with members of the audience.
