5 State Trainings on Hispanic Behavioral Health – Free

The National Latino Behavioral Health Association is announcing five state trainings on Hispanic Behavioral Health April 4th through June 1st. This training for providers focuses specifically at the behavioral health of New Mexico’s Hispanic population. Administrators, peer specialists, care coordinators, and other mental health professionals are encouraged to attend.

The training will cover the following key concepts:

  • New Mexico’s Hispanic Population
  • Labels and Stereotypes
  • Intercultural Communication
  • Discrimination and Stigma
  • Wellness and Healing

6 CEU’s will be provided for counselors, therapists and social workers.
There is no registration fee. Lunch will be provided.
All trainings will be held in the OptumHealth New Mexico regional offices from 8:30 to 4:00
