In 2009, Con Alma Health Foundation started a tradition of recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the health of their communities, large and small. Our Heroes of Health work to improve health and advance health equity in New Mexico. Heroes can come from any field, including health-care providers, policy makers, advocates, clinicians, administrators, and volunteers who give of their time to address unmet health needs in New Mexico. We are also very interested in nominations of unsung heroes – volunteers and individuals who work to improve health in New Mexico and whose efforts make a difference in our communities.
Nominate a Hero of Health by sending Con Alma the reason you are honoring this person, with a photo, if you have one. A Selection Committee will choose one 2014 Hero of Health and a $1,000 donation will be given to a New Mexico nonprofit of the honoree’s choosing.
All nominees will be recognized as part of the Con Alma Health Foundation Grantee Recognition Reception on Friday, November 21, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe.
Nomination deadline Friday, October 3, 2014
